Knight Life Beyond the Classroom

5th & 6th Grade Class Trip

Students have the opportunity to visit Springfield, IL and Walcamp Outdoor Ministry during their 5th and 6th grade years.

During the trip to Springfield, students learn about the state capital, visit the Lincoln Museum, as well as historical landmarks. 

When students visit Walcamp, they engage in outdoor educational and team building activities. 

7th & 8th Grade Class Trip

Students have the opportunity to visit both Washington DC and Atlanta, GA during their 7th and 8th grade years. During both trips, students visit historical sites and museums. Students look forward to these trips throughout their time at Grace!

Concha's & Coffee  Morning

Twice a year we have a "thank you" morning for parents and the community where we give free coffee and conchas (Mexican sweet bread treat) during morning drop off. We usually go through about 100 cups of coffee and 100 conchas!​

Mexican Independence Parade

GCA students and families are invited every year to represent our school and community in the Annual Mexican Independence Parade in the Little Village neighborhood. While walking in the procession, we pass out school fans and candy while promoting our schools mission.

La Villita Navidena

GCA is a proud sponsor for the annual La Villita Navidena aka Las Posadas & Toy drive. Hosted by the Little Village Chamber of Commerce. Every year our parent group represents our school and community connecting with families at the event. We pass out delicious hot chocolate and winter gloves and hats to families while sharing how awesome our school is :)
