early childhood Checklist
We offer full-day programs for Pre-K 3 & 4 and Kindergarten. It is our goal to nurture the whole child in terms of social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual development. Pre-K students are exposed to a variety of subjects such as phonics, math, handwriting, science, and library time. Here are the core elements of the Pre-K curriculum:

  • Learning about Jesus and His love for us
  • Building social skills
  • Establishing good manners
  • Sharing and being considerate of others
  • Learning about personal responsibility
  • Coping with separation anxiety
  • Developing emotional maturity
  • Learning letters of the alphabet
  • Learning at least numbers 1-20 (recognition and counting)
  • Learning basic shapes and colors
  • Recognizing and writing their names
  • Learning to love school through engaging activities and daily free-choice play

Our Pre-K classes also incorporate naptime into the daily routine, usually from 12:30pm-2pm. Skills learned and mastered in Pre-K 3 & 4 help prepare children for the more academic atmosphere in Kindergarten.

  • Developing emotional skills such as kindness, positive leadership, selfless courage, and invincible grit
  • Learning to count to 120
  • Learning to add & subtract numbers up to 10
  • Identifying 2D and 3D shapes
  • Learning basic measurements
  • Identifying around 100 sight words
  • Reading basic texts
  • Learning to write simple sentences
  • Introducing social studies and science lessons on a daily basis
  • Increasing physical growth through gym class twice a week
  • Fostering creativity and individualized interests through free-choice play three times a week
