Kindergarten: Our ApproachKindergarten is a transitional year that helps children move from play-focused learning in preschool to the academic expectations of first grade. Learning is typically interactive and fun but the children engage in more structured lessons that build their literacy and math skills, including work in phonics, reading, science, social studies, geometry, and basic algebra. Small class size allows for more personal attention and personalized learning. Children are able to work at a skill level that will challenge them to grow and best equip them with the skills needed for first grade and beyond
