Grace Christian Academy is committed to academic integrity, perseverance, and excellence. We offer an integrated, challenging, and interactive curriculum that encourages all children to become involved in and responsible for their own learning. Teachers promote high academic expectations by offering individualized attention to each student. The use of technology, multimedia, music & arts, and athletics enhance the academic base of their education. We promote a diligent work ethic and expect the best of each student.

Learning about Jesus and His love and sacrifice for us
Social skills
Manners
Sharing and being considerate of others
Personal responsibility
Coping with separation anxiety
Emotional maturity
Learning letters of the alphabet in context
Learning numbers 1-20 (recognition and counting) and higher in context
Basic shapes and colors in the environment as well in context
Recognizing and writing name
Our Pre-K classes also incorporate naptime into the daily routine, usually from about 12:30 – 2:00. Skills learned and mastered in the Pre-K grades help prepare children for the more academic Kindergarten atmosphere. Students are exposed to a variety of subjects such as phonics, math, handwriting, science, and library time.
Grace Christian Academy believes in academic rigor, hard work, and excellence in education. Beginning in first grade, the core curriculum of reading, writing (public speaking for upper grades), mathematics, science, social studies, and instruction in Christian theology becomes more demanding. Students are held to high standards regardless of past performance or personal histories. They are expected to complete and turn in all assignments on time. Preparing for tests, projects, and daily activities is expected as well. We expect our students to develop personal responsibility, a good work ethic, respect, and maturity in a supportive atmosphere with high expectations for life-long success.
Grading Scale Grace Christian Academy’s grading scale is a common letter scale, with the exception that the letter grade “D” does not exist. We believe that any student who works consistently and to the best of their ability is able to obtain a minimum average (C) score. Therefore, anything below a C- percentage grade is considered failing.
